Die Tumorbank "Embryonale Tumoren" wurde im Jahr 2000 im Rahmen des Kompetenznetzes "Pädiatrische Onkologie" (gefördert vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung) etabliert.

Sinn und Zweck

  • Sammlung und Asservierung von Tumorgewebe in hoher Qualität für Diagnostik und Forschung
  • Weiterleitung an spezifische Laboratorien für spezielle Untersuchungen (Molekulargenetik etc.)
  • nicht benötigtes Tumormaterial wird asserviert und pseudonymisiert auf Antrag für Forschungszwecke zur Verfügung gestellt
